We contacted OK Kostaryka with a complete itinerary already prepared for our group of five and a two-week road trip. We honestly thought it would just be a final check — we had everything planned and didn’t expect to change much. Maybe just a few small details.
They went through the entire itinerary with us and took the time to understand what really mattered to us — what we wanted to avoid, what we absolutely wanted to see and experience, and what we enjoyed doing, eating and exploring.
In the end, they turned our original plan upside down — and created something that was much better suited to us. They added places based on their own experience, advised us against some overrated spots and suggested alternatives that matched the way we actually wanted to travel. The final decisions were always ours, but their reasoning made perfect sense.
Their surfing recommendations were so good that we even extended our stay on the coast!
